Congratulations to Richard Deon, Matt Kuhlman and Joe Fish for being selected to the Howard County Community College political art show A HOUSE DIVIDED. Deon's work touches on the hot button issue of NFL anti-cop protests. Kuhlman's work shows a humorous twist on the desire for change that brought in the Trump administration. Fish's piece is in regard to Trump's July 6,2017 Pro-West Warsaw speech.

Best In Show:

Benedikt Paffgen
Paffgen’s work speaks of the many similarities with the Trump and Brexit movements. It is now evident that the West is in the midst of a self-aware revolution.

Richard Deon
Deon’s work is inspired by schoolbook doodle graffiti. The anti-Trump biased mainstream media may require similar editorial defacement.

Anna Rotty
In Rotty’s piece we see an artist who has found confidence in color, texture and a balanced level of control. Might the featureless face symbolize new and unknown possibilities?

Richard Boisselier
In Boisselier’s piece, we see a hee-hawing decapitated demo-donkey, slaughtered by its own hatred of middle-America.

Rowena Trapp
Trapp’s Faded Glory tenderly depicts what so many have lost over the years, hope, pride and a sense of belonging. It is high time we lose the stigma of putting our own people first.
